Fall Retreat

November 26-28 we will be having our second annual Fall Retreat at the beautiful Stoneridge Mountain Resort in Canmore!

The Hot Tub and Heated Outdoor pool will be open so remember your swimsuit!

Deposit: $50.00 payable to Deborah Baldock for conference room rental

Room Rate:

single king bedroom with pullout couch $127 plus taxes per night

-two king bedrooms, two bathrooms, pullout couch option available as well.

All rooms have FULL KITCHENS. No food is allowed in the conference room and drinks have to be in sealed containers.

Album Class:

If you are interested in completing a full album with Deborah over the weekend let us know! It is $200.00 and includes all the supplies to make an entire album in one weekend including a new faux leather album in your choice of color! If you have registered for the album class please let Deborah know what color album you would like by November 2nd.

Calender Club - Starts Oct 22

Starting Oct 22 we will be building another fabulous annual calender!

Beach Album

For this beach album I used a 3-ring binder and turned it vertically. Then I used our new Magnifique kit which has awesome blues on the back side of the patterned paper.

The kids were so cute that day, playing in the water, sand and at the playground. On this page I added a 4x6 flip flap and used the rub-ons and sparkles to accent the paper and make a flap with hidden journalling beneath the picture. For the tab, I used one of the tiny tabs and took the basketball looking sticker off it the end and replaced it with one of the flower stickers from the Magnifique kit.


I had left over top coats from the you rock kit which worked perfectly to complement the papers and the theme for this album.




I also used some top coats- frames over some of the pictures and more rub-ons and our new pearl opaques and colored sparkles.

Nathan was so cute, playing in the sand, he would put his face right into it and everything!



Overall, I was so happy with how this album turned out, and it didn't require a lot of supplies.

Okotoks Teen Scrapbook Club

This fall we are looking forward to starting a new teen workshop club.

It will run every two weeks starting September 16th for six sessions from 7:00pm - 8:30pm each time.

Dates are as follows:

During the six classes we will build three amazing pieces of artwork including a memory keep box, a mini album and a wall hanging. (the wall hanging is shown above)

The club is $90.00 for the six classes or $15 per class but each teen must commit to all six classes.

We accept anyone over the age of ten! Space is limited to six girls, so register early to avoid disappointment.
