January Workshop- Magic Layout!

Come try something new! See what our workshops are all about for just $5.00!

Each month we do a featured workshop using a specific Close To My Heart paper pack, accessory and stamp set. We typically build six pages (3 layouts) in one evening from start to finish.

This month we will be doing one layout (two pages) from the new interactive how-to program Magic. It features using button slides to add more pictures to your pages without cluttering them up!

The January Promotion from CTMH is to purchase the Wings Workshop Kit and get a discount on the new stamp sets featured in the Wings Brochure (can be viewed by clicking here). You can also qualify for the January Stamp Of The Month by purchasing the kit and any four different items in the brochure. In order for you to be able to take advantage of this amazing promotion, we will be ordering the Wings workshop kit in January and doing the workshop in February. By pre-ordering your supplies each month it allows you to be able to take advantage of more of the promotions that CTMH has to offer!

Fall Retreat

November 26-28 we will be having our second annual Fall Retreat at the beautiful Stoneridge Mountain Resort in Canmore!

The Hot Tub and Heated Outdoor pool will be open so remember your swimsuit!

Deposit: $50.00 payable to Deborah Baldock for conference room rental

Room Rate:

single king bedroom with pullout couch $127 plus taxes per night

-two king bedrooms, two bathrooms, pullout couch option available as well.

All rooms have FULL KITCHENS. No food is allowed in the conference room and drinks have to be in sealed containers.

Album Class:

If you are interested in completing a full album with Deborah over the weekend let us know! It is $200.00 and includes all the supplies to make an entire album in one weekend including a new faux leather album in your choice of color! If you have registered for the album class please let Deborah know what color album you would like by November 2nd.

Calender Club - Starts Oct 22

Starting Oct 22 we will be building another fabulous annual calender!

Beach Album

For this beach album I used a 3-ring binder and turned it vertically. Then I used our new Magnifique kit which has awesome blues on the back side of the patterned paper.

The kids were so cute that day, playing in the water, sand and at the playground. On this page I added a 4x6 flip flap and used the rub-ons and sparkles to accent the paper and make a flap with hidden journalling beneath the picture. For the tab, I used one of the tiny tabs and took the basketball looking sticker off it the end and replaced it with one of the flower stickers from the Magnifique kit.


I had left over top coats from the you rock kit which worked perfectly to complement the papers and the theme for this album.




I also used some top coats- frames over some of the pictures and more rub-ons and our new pearl opaques and colored sparkles.

Nathan was so cute, playing in the sand, he would put his face right into it and everything!



Overall, I was so happy with how this album turned out, and it didn't require a lot of supplies.
